The Corn Mill

The well equipped kitchen in the Corn Mill highlights countryside charm and contemporary style. The modern cream wood units with spacious wooden work-surfaces effortlessly blend in with the cherry wooden floor.

The kitchen features a good range of appliances, including an electric oven with ceramic hob and grill, dishwasher, two microwaves and a undercounter fridge and freezer, as well as a coffee machine. Also included are the standard applicances such as a kettle, toaster and slow cooker.

Situated on the first floor, The Corn Mill's open living area encompases a comfortable loung and dining area, benefiting from wonderful views of the local countryside. This spacious open living area contains warm cherry wood floorboards, adding the countryside feel of this cottage, as well as beautiful French doors allowing you to be as close as possible to the outside.

Located at one end of the space is the lounge. Containing two large sofas, there is ample seating for most families. A coffee table in the middle allows you to relax and unwind and is complemented by the 32" TV and DVD player situated in the corner. The focus point of this space are the beautiful French doors, bringing in light throughout the day. On warm summer evenings, open the doors up to let the evening sunshine flood the cottage.

Just behind the lounge area is the dining table, with seating for up to 6 people. Enjoy the local delicacies from nearby farm shops that are just a short drive away.

Located on the ground floor, the master bedroom in the Corn Mill is a lovely spacious room, containing a king size bed and large wardrobe. Bedside tables along with a chest of drawers, on top of which is a 28" TV with Freeview and DVD player, means there is plenty of space to put away clothes. As well as this, you will also find a hair dryer within the room.

Arguably the best part of this bedroom is the beautiful spacious en-suite. Containing toilet, sink and rainfall shower, the en-suite is very well equipped.

At the opposite end to the master bedroom, you will find the large second bedroom. Featuring a super king zip-and-link bed, it enables you to have two different sleeping arrangements. Also, there is a single pull-out bed that slides out from underneath, making it ideal if three people want to share one room.

As well as the bed, you will find a spacious built-in wardrobe and large chest of drawers. A 28" TV with Freeview and DVD player means you can stay entertained, and the sink and mirror in the corner means you can stay looking your best.

Opposite the utility room you will find the family bathroom. A large bath features a overhanging waterfall tap. On the otherside is a large glass rainfall shower with ample space. Inbetween is a good size sink, toilet and storage drawers.

The bespoke hand-built deck can be found at the end of the custom path from the balcony. Situated at the end of the cottage that recieves the most sun throughout the day, you can enjoy amazing views into the valley, as well as over the large fishing pond and babbling stream alongside.

A large table with parasol and seating for six means you can really enjoy the countryside at its best. There is also a portable charcoal BBQ for warm evenings spent outside enjoying the beautiful sunsets.

For anyone wishing to try their hand at a spot of fishing, The Corn Mill has access to its own pond where trout and carp can be caught without need of a licence. For more information please get in touch. Please note we are unable to provide any equipment for guests wishing to use the fishing pond.

Upstairs within the eves of the Corn Mill, you will find the cosy childrens room. With two single beds, this room is perfect for the smaller members of your family, whilst also being a great space from to relax and have fun.

The entertainment options include a TV with Freeview and DVD player, stereo and an Xbox 360 with a selection of games provided. There are also two comfy beanbags to lounge about on, as well as toys and a football table.

For practicality, there is a small sink by the door.
